In 2014, the Tuscaloosa Character Council held the First Annual Champions of Character Awards. Click here for last year's program and here for a listing of student and educator award recipients. This awards program honored citizens, educators, and students for demonstrating extraordinary positive character in our community and schools.
Due to the success of last year's event, we are pleased to announce the Second Annual Champions of Character Awards. We invite you to nominate outstanding students and adults that best model and strive to live as Champions of Character.
Students and adults will be recognized at a banquet on April 2, 2015 at the University of Alabama Bryant Conference Center. Champions of Character Award winners will receive certificates and plaques of recognition and be listed in the program. If you are interested in attending this event, please download a Ticket Order Form from this page.
In addition, the Tuscaloosa Character Council will award an annual scholarship to a high school senior from each public school system (City & County) at this event.
The Champions of Character Award will be presented to each of the following:
One student from each public high school, middle school and elementary school;
One educator from each public school system;
One community Champion of Character.
